该项目位于鄂尔多斯市东胜区北部，占地49.3公顷，总建筑面积10万平方米，建筑高度129米。该项目为"弯 弓”造型，设有35000席固定看台，5000席活动看台，体育建筑甲级标准，并拥有国内领先的10000平方米开合 屋盖。该工程荣获"鲁班奖"、"中国土木工程詹天佑奖"、"中国钢结构金奖(国家优质工程)”、"第七届建筑结构设计一等奖“和“改革开放3 5年百项经典工程“等荣誉。

The project is located in the north of Dongsheng District, Ordos City, covering 49.3 hectares, with a total construction area of 100,000 square meters and a building height of 129 meters. The project has a "curved bow" shape, with 35,000 fixed seats, 5000 movable seats. It is a project that meets Class A sports building standard with a 10,000 square meters' retractable roof which is an edge-cutting technology within China. The project won the "Luban Prize", "China Civil Engineering Zhan Tianyou Award", "China Steel Structure Gold Award (National Quality Project)", "The First Prize of the Seventh Excellent Building Structure Design" and "Top 100 Classic Projects in 35 Years of Reform and Opening up" and other honors.
